History of NAPA
The National Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Panhellenic Association (NAPA) began in the summer of 2004 when a group of 14 APIA fraternities and sororities joined together to form the APIA Greek Alliance (AGA). In the summer of 2005 with support from OCA, a national organization dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans, The AGA hosted the first-ever leadership summit. The fraternities and sororities in attendance chose to form the foundation for what would become NAPA. In December 2016 National APIA Panhellenic Association changed names to National APIDA Panhellenic Association.
